What is the Best Camera for Taking eBay Pictures?
A couple days ago we had a comment on our blog asking about what type of camera they should use for taking pictures on eBay. I thought this was a great question and it would be great to do a video to answer.
The way we do it is we use an iPad Air to take our pictures and then we use the eBay app to upload everything and create the listings. Then we can do everything all in one shot.
We actually don’t use it a digital camera anymore and we would completely recommend if you have an iPhone or if you have an iPad to use that instead because they take great pictures and you don’t have to take pictures and then go put them on the computer, crop, upload them all…. ugh! You can do it all in one shot right on your iPad or your iPhone and get the listing done right then and there.
If you have an Android we’re not sure how the app works on that – we have never done it before so if you use an Android please leave your comments down below and let us know how that works for Android.
If you don’t have any of these devices, I will show you the camera that I used to use. It is a Fujifilm Finepix s4300 and it goes for about $300 on Amazon – but you don’t need a big fancy camera like this to do pictures on eBay.
If you’re going to get a digital camera, watch out for the megapixels. This one is 14 megapixels and the higher megapixels the better the quality of the pictures will be. Otherwise, you really don’t need anything too fancy.
The most important part of your pictures is going to be your lighting. Make sure that you’re getting tons of natural light. That’s the best thing you can do.
That’s my quick answer to that and I hope that helps. If you have any other suggestions please leave them in the comments.
